FDA Announces Guidance on Withdrawal of 586A Requests Under the Sunscreen Innovation Act

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a guidance document outlining the process for withdrawing 586A requests and pending requests for nonprescription sunscreen active ingredients, as part of the Sunscreen Innovation Act (SIA). The guidance finalizes a previously issued draft from November 23, 2015.
