FDA Announces Draft Guidance for Software as a Medical Device Clinical Evaluation

The FDA has released a draft guidance on clinical evaluation for Software as a Medical Devices (SaMD), developed in collaboration with the International Medical Device Regulators Forum, outlining principles for determining when and what type of clinical evaluation is necessary based on the risk of the SaMD.
