U.S. Commission Proposes Changes to Light Bulb Labeling Requirements

The U.S. Commission proposes to delay the effective date of its new light bulb labeling requirements from July 19, 2010, to January 1, 2012, to give manufacturers more time to update their packaging, and also exempts incandescent bulbs from the new labeling requirement, which will not meet federal energy efficiency standards by 2013.
