FDA Releases Guidance for Nonprescription Sunscreen Drug Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a guidance document outlining the format and content of data submissions required to support a request for a determination on the safety and effectiveness of nonprescription sunscreen active ingredients, as mandated by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Sunscreen Innovation Act.
