Coast Guard Proposes Temporary Safety Zone for Swim Around Charleston

The U.S. Coast Guard plans to create a temporary moving safety zone for the upcoming Swim Around Charleston event on September 26, 2015, to protect participants, spectators, and the general public from potential hazards during the race, which will take place on the Wando River, Cooper River, Charleston Harbor, and Ashley River.
