Coast Guard Establishes Safety Zone for Polar Pioneer Drill Unit in Chukchi Sea

The US Coast Guard is setting up a 500-meter safety zone around the Polar Pioneer drill unit in the Chukchi Sea, Alaska, from July 1, 2015, to October 31, 2015, to prevent collisions and protect the environment from potential oil spills and natural gas releases.
