Coast Guard Issues Temporary Regulation for Galveston Causeway Railroad Vertical Lift Bridge

The Coast Guard has temporarily altered the operating schedule of the Galveston Causeway Railroad Vertical Lift Bridge to accommodate maintenance, allowing the bridge to be closed to navigation for eight hours on consecutive days during daylight hours.
