Coast Guard Proposes Special Local Regulated Area for Ironman Chattanooga Event

The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing a special local regulated area along the Tennessee River in Tennessee, from mile marker 463.0 to 467.0, to ensure public safety during the 'Ironman Chattanooga' event, which is expected to draw approximately 2,500 swimmers. Entry into this area will be restricted unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Ohio Valley or a designated representative.
