FEMA to Suspend Flood Insurance Sales in Certain Communities

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will suspend the sale of flood insurance in communities that have failed to comply with floodplain management requirements under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), with some exceptions for communities that adopt required measures before the suspension date.
