ATF Requests OMB Approval for Revised Firearms Transaction Report Collection

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), part of the Department of Justice (DOJ), is requesting OMB approval for a revised information collection, Report of Firearms Transactions--ATF Form 5300.5, which will be renamed to clearly identify the firearms transactions affected. The proposed change includes an increase in the number of respondents, responses, and burden hours.
