U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces Permit Application for Desert Tortoise Habitat Conservation

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has received an application from Valley Electric Association, Inc. for a 30-year permit to construct a solar facility in Pahrump, Nevada, which would allow for the incidental take of Mojave desert tortoises, and is accepting comments on the proposal.
