BOEM Announces Intent to Prepare EIS for Liberty Development and Production Plan in Beaufort Sea

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is initiating the environmental impact assessment (EIS) process for the Liberty Development and Production Plan (DPP) in the Beaufort Sea Planning Area, which proposes the construction of a gravel production island and a pipeline system to transport oil to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System.
