USDA Adopts Final Rule to Decrease California Date Assessment Rate

The USDA is adopting a final rule to decrease the assessment rate for California dates from $0.20 to $0.10 per hundredweight, effective for the 2015-16 crop year and beyond, as recommended by the California Date Administrative Committee.
