USDA Adopts Decreased Assessment Rate for Oranges and Grapefruit in Texas

The USDA has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for oranges and grapefruit grown in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas, from $0.11 to $0.08 per 7/10-bushel carton, to better match lower expenses.
