USDA Amends Margin Protection Program for Dairy to Allow Family Members to Join Operations

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has updated the regulations for the Margin Protection Program for Dairy (MPP-Dairy) to allow dairy operations to update their production history when a family member joins the operation, and also provides for a later payment due date and clarifies coverage for buy-up and catastrophic coverage.
