USDA Seeks Input on SNAP Data Exchange Standards

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking input from state governments and other stakeholders to help establish data exchange standards for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The request follows a 2014 law amendment that requires the USDA to designate standards for electronic data exchange between state agencies and the federal government.
