Christmas Tree Promotion, Research, and Information Order Late Payment and Interest Charges Rule

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has implemented a new rule for late payment and interest charges on past due assessments under the Christmas Tree Promotion, Research, and Information Order. The rule, which began on January 1, 2023, allows the Christmas Tree Promotion Board to collect late payment and interest charges on unpaid assessments 30 days after the effective date.
