USDA Proposes Increased Assessment Rate for Washington Apricots

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has proposed a rule to increase the assessment rate for Washington apricots from $0.75 to $1.40 per ton, effective for the 2016-17 fiscal period and beyond, to fund the marketing program administered by the Washington Apricot Marketing Committee.
