USDA Revises Canned Vegetable Grade Standards

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is revising 18 U.S. grade standards for canned vegetables issued before August 3, 1998. The changes aim to align the standards with current market quality levels and provide clearer guidance for product use.
