FSIS Requests Revision of Information Collection Procedures for New Technology and Waivers
The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is seeking to revise its procedures for notifying the agency about new technology and requests for waivers due to an expiring Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval, which is set to expire on April 30, 2017. The proposed revision aims to account for increased data collection and recordkeeping requirements, resulting in a total annual burden estimate of 9,184 hours.
