DOE Announces Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for New England Clean Power Link Project

The Department of Energy is planning to prepare an environmental impact statement for a proposed federal action that would grant a Presidential permit to Champlain VT, LLC, to build a new electric transmission line across the U.S.-Canada border in northern Vermont, involving cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and U.S. Coast Guard.
