Venture Global LNG, LLC Seeks 25-Year Authorization to Export LNG to Non-FTA Countries

Venture Global LNG, LLC has submitted an application to the U.S. Department of Energy for long-term authorization to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) to non-Free Trade Agreement (FTA) countries for a 25-year period. The proposed LNG terminal will be constructed along the Calcasieu Ship Channel in Louisiana, and the export volume will be up to 5 million metric tons per year.
