Treasury Department Corrects Final Regulations on Federal Financial Assistance for Banks and Building Associations

The Treasury Department has issued corrections to final regulations regarding the federal income tax treatment of transactions involving federal financial assistance provided to banks and domestic building and loan associations, as published in the Federal Register on October 19, 2017.
