Pacific Fishery Management Council Sets Control Date for Large-Mesh Drift Gillnet Limited Entry Program

The Pacific Fishery Management Council has announced a control date of June 23, 2014, to limit the number of participants in the large-mesh drift gillnet fishery targeting swordfish and thresher sharks, as part of its review of the current state-managed program and potential rulemaking.
