U.S. Implements Final Rule for Sustainable Bluefin Tuna Management

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has finalized a rule to manage bluefin tuna sustainably, allocating U.S. quota among domestic fishing categories and implementing measures to reduce bycatch and promote monitoring, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act and the Atlantic Tunas Convention Act.
