Bombardier Issues Airworthiness Directive for DHC-8-400 Series Airplanes

Bombardier, Inc. is issuing an airworthiness directive for its DHC-8-400 series airplanes to address a safety concern related to engine fire/overheat detector assemblies. The directive requires replacing the affected assemblies to prevent misleading engine fire indications in the cockpit after a fire has been extinguished.
