Boeing Issues New Airworthiness Directive for 747 Series Airplanes

The Boeing Company is issuing a new airworthiness directive (AD) to inspect and modify the fuselage skin lap splice on certain 747 series airplanes to prevent cracking, which could lead to a sudden loss of cabin pressurization.
