Patient Safety and Quality Improvement: Civil Money Penalty Inflation Adjustment

The Office for Civil Rights has determined that an adjustment to the maximum civil money penalty amount for violations of the confidentiality provisions of the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Rule is not required at this time, as mandated by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990.
