EPA Proposes Clean Data Determination for New York County Air Quality

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to determine that the New York County area in New York is meeting the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for particulate matter with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less, based on air quality monitoring data from 2010 to 2012. This determination would exempt New York from making certain Clean Air Act submissions for as long as the area continues to meet the standard.
