EPA Grants Exemption to Evonik's 2,5-Furandione for Use in Pesticide Formulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Evonik's 2,5-furandione, a polymer used in pesticide formulations, from the requirement of a tolerance for residues on food and feed commodities, following a petition submitted by Evonik under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA)
