Notice of Public Meetings for the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Introduction of the P-8A Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft into the U.S. Navy Fleet

The U.S. Department of the Navy has prepared a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the introduction of the P-8A Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft into the Navy fleet, evaluating the environmental impact of dual-site home bases at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington, as well as a permanent rotating squadron detachment at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, and periodic detachments to Naval Base Coronado, California.
