EPA Exempts FD&C Yellow No. 5 from Tolerance Requirement for Antimicrobial Pesticide Formulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Ecolab, Inc. from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of FD&C Yellow No. 5, a dye used in antimicrobial pesticide formulations applied to food-contact surfaces in public eating places, dairy-processing equipment, and food-processing equipment and utensils.
