Guidelines for Publishing Federal Register Documents During Funding Lapse

In the event of a government funding lapse, the Office of the Federal Register will only publish documents directly related to emergency activities that pose an imminent threat to human life or property, and agencies will be responsible for certifying the relevance of their documents.
