NIOSH Extends Comment Period for Conformity Assessment of Personal Protective Equipment

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is extending the comment period for its proposed conformity assessment framework for personal protective equipment (PPE). The agency had previously solicited input on the framework, which aims to improve the certification and conformity assessment processes for non-respiratory PPE products.
