EPA Expands Renewable Fuel Standard Program to Include Heating Oil

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is amending the definition of 'heating oil' to include fuel oils produced from qualifying renewable biomass, allowing producers to generate Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs) for compliance with the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program.
