NIH Updates Guidelines for Research Involving Recombinant or Synthetic Nucleic Acid Molecules

The Office of Biotechnology Activities is updating the NIH Guidelines to specify the risk group classification for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, leading to more uniform containment recommendations and minor amendments to the guidelines.
