EPA Proposes Approval of Illinois Air Quality Implementation Plan Revision

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a state implementation plan revision submitted by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) to update the state's vehicle inspection and maintenance program in the Chicago and Metro-East St. Louis ozone nonattainment areas in Illinois, reflecting changes implemented since 1999.
