DoD Issues Interim Rule to Implement Supply Chain Risk Management for National Security Systems

The Department of Defense (DoD) has issued an interim rule to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to consider supply chain risk in procurements related to national security systems, as mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 and amended by the FY 2013 NDAA.
