Navy Cancels Environmental Impact Statement for Outlying Landing Field at Naval Air Stations

The US Department of the Navy has cancelled its plan to prepare an environmental impact statement for a construction project at an outlying landing field in North Carolina and Virginia, which was intended to support carrier-based air wing aircraft at two naval air stations.
