EPA Proposes Approval of Illinois Air Quality Implementation Plan Revision

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revision to the Illinois state implementation plan (SIP) that updates the definition of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to exclude a new chemical compound, HFO-1234ze, which was added to the list in 2012 due to its negligible contribution to ozone formation.
