EPA Approves New York's Air Quality Plan, Waives Submission Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that the New York County area is meeting the National Ambient Air Quality Standard for particulate matter, allowing the state to waive its Clean Air Act submission requirements for a certain period.
