EPA Proposes Modifications to Oil and Gas Permit in Texas

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 has proposed changes to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) general permit for oil and gas extraction and stripper well discharges in Texas, aiming to restore coverage eligibility for certain inland discharges and require toxicity testing for freshwater discharges.
