EPA Approves Application of Eastern Shoshone Tribe and Northern Arapaho Tribe for Clean Air Act Treatment

The EPA has approved the December 2008 application of the Northern Arapaho Tribe and Eastern Shoshone Tribe to be treated under the Clean Air Act in a similar manner as a state, allowing them to access certain provisions without exercising tribal regulatory authority.
