EPA Grants Exemption for Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate in Food Contact Surfaces

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of copper sulfate pentahydrate in public eating places, dairy-processing equipment, and food-processing equipment, allowing for a maximum level of 80 parts per million (ppm) in the end use concentration.
