EPA Grants Exemption to Huntsman Corp. for 2,5-Furandione in Pesticide Formulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Huntsman Corp. from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of 2,5-furandione, a polymer used as an inert ingredient in pesticide formulations, allowing its use in food and feed commodities without a maximum permissible level.
