U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Amendment to Transnuclear's NUHOMS Cask System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has amended its spent fuel storage regulations to include Transnuclear, Inc.'s Standardized NUHOMS Cask System, specifically Amendment No. 13 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1004, which adds new dry shielded canisters, fuel types, and storage modules.
