U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Submits Proposal for Review of High-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal at Yucca Mountain

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a proposal for review by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) regarding the collection of information for the disposal of high-level radioactive waste in a geologic repository at Yucca Mountain, Nevada. The NRC is seeking public comment on this proposal, which was published in the Federal Register on January 10, 2014.
