U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Spent Fuel Storage Regulations for Transnuclear, Inc.'s NUHOMS Storage System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations for the Transnuclear, Inc. Standardized Advanced NUHOMS Horizontal Modular Storage System, which includes Amendment No. 3 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1029, adding a new transportable dry shielded canister and making editorial corrections.
