NRC Receives Petition from Environmental Groups to Revise Spent Fuel Storage Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has received a petition from environmental organizations to revise and integrate safety and environmental regulations related to spent fuel storage and disposal. The NRC has not initiated a public comment period for this petition.
