NRC Grants Exemption to NextEra Energy Point Beach for Fuel Rod Cladding Material

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC, allowing the use of a different fuel rod cladding material at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, following a request made in June 2013.
